THE JOURNEY

From her award-sweeping performance as Kim in Miss Saigon to voicing two of the most empowered Disney princesses in song, Lea Salonga is an icon of music, television, film, and theatre. She’s sold over 19 million albums and continues to sell out concerts all over the world.

Our first collaboration with Lea and her team was on an album that, unfortunately, was never released.

However, after doing great print design work, they came back to us for a website redesign — wanting to streamline an existing online store and fan club membership website to make it easy for both audiences and administrators to navigate Lea’s vast career and online presence.

This was the catalyst for creating LeaSalonga.com. Our goal was a one-stop shop for all things Lea Salonga: stage, screen, and official shop! In the years that have followed, we’ve also helped launch music and a world concert tour.

CHALLENGE

Existing website was a “fan club” where people had to sign up or sign in to access gated content.

SOLUTION

We replaced the “Fan Club” and focused on a VIP email list— where information can be broadcast at a moment’s notice.

CHALLENGE

Lea’s merchandise team built an existing shop on an outdated eCommerce platform.

SOLUTION

Rather than a separate platform and website, we moved Lea’s merchandise to Squarespace eCommerce — offering ease for audiences and admins, including on mobile.

The NEW shop allows her team to sell physical products (like apparel, books, and DVDs) as well as services such as VIP Meet & Greets during her concert tours.

Since 2015, we’ve worked closely with Lea and her team — creating a highly-effective website that engages visitors, garners email and social media subscriptions, and leads audiences to ticket sales and merchandise.

Like Sierra Boggess, our work has allowed Lea and her team to self-manage her website and store—adding 8+ years worth of content without needing to reengage. During the global shutdown, we were happy to reunite and work together on launching her single, “Dream Again” and “Dream Again” World Tour.

Currently on Broadway in Here Lies Love, and set to star in the West End’s Old Friends, we’re looking forward to the latest news and updates being shared directly from LeaSalonga.com.
