“The fact that I am an actor-playwright with a very full schedule, and had so many different areas to cover within each category (photos, videos, press, and so forth) made the job too overwhelming to try and design and execute the website myself.
I did have a website before, but it badly needed updating. The main obstacle for me was (and still is) psychological. For several reasons, it's a challenge for me to feel comfortable and confident promoting myself. But Tony's coaching is helping me improve on that.
I absolutely loved working with Tony. I'm thrilled with what Tony did, and he had so many ideas that I never would have thought of myself! The website we created really tells my unique story and truly reflects who I am. Tony's design is so beautiful, detailed, and thorough, with a wonderful fluidity and flow to it so I know people will enjoy looking at it and find it effective and informative. And I love that when I've expressed reticence about "self-promotion," he has constantly reminded me that there are people in the world who will be inspired by my work and that the website will provide a way for that inspiration to happen.
I think the biggest change is a deep personal sense of completion and wholeness. And a tremendous sense of pride and accomplishment, and relief in knowing that ALL my work is represented on my website, both as an actor and a playwright.
The new website is helping to open up even more opportunities and help take my career to another level. I am getting a LOT more VO auditions and I hope that's due to the fact that all my VO clips are on my website now. Things have been very busy as auditions have started up again
