HEAR FROM THE CLIENT

“Specificity and care… has done wonders for my career and outreach”

“Working with Tony has been a professional, humorous, productive, and rewarding experience. His knowledge is second to none; you leave every session learning something new.

Tony caters to his client’s needs and doesn’t have them fold into a rote service for ease, as many do. In addition, his websites, practices, and initiatives allow room for a client’s growth, and he always follows up with specificity and care. I have also been impressed by his attention to visual details and representation; everything he builds looks beautiful and is easy to read and navigate.

I cannot recommend Tony enough. He has done wonders for my career and outreach.”

-TEGAN SUMMER

THE JOURNEY

Tegan Summer is the preeminent writer and producer of bio-musicals for stage and screen. He is the worldwide stage theatrical rights owner for the properties of James Dean, Bettie Page, The Nicholas Brothers, and Amelia Earhart, and the life rights owner for stage for Malcolm X and Harvey Milk.

We share a mutual fascination with finding the lessons in other people’s stories. Our backgrounds in acting allow us to inhabit their real-life worlds and create new artistic expressions.

Tegan contacted me because, in his words, he was often the “hired gun” as a producer to come in and get things done — but wanted people to also know about his many bio-musicals.

CHALLENGE

Like many creatives, Tegan had built his existing web presence around his production company: Timeless Stage & Screen, LLC.

This focus on a business brand versus a personal brand made his Google results all about his early acting career — they weren’t up-to-date with his current and recent ventures.

SOLUTION

We shifted his marketing approach to honor the human people were hiring. This meant creating the website TeganSummer.com and having his LLC only mentioned in the footer legalese and when creating contracts.

To bridge this change, we chose font and color choices to honor the past, present the present, and design the future.

CHALLENGE

Tegan’s website was our first website using Fluid Engine, the newest version of Squarespace. While this allowed us to create a super custom website without needing to hire a developer, it made it very difficult for Tegan to DIY updates.

SOLUTION

Prior to launching, we simplified the design of his portfolio pages and created additional training.

This has allowed Tegan to easily update his own website with his latest reel, projects, news, etc.

Tegan has become a dear friend throughout this process — often referring new clients our way. While we met in NYC, Tegan recently returned to London, and we were able to meet up in the West End.

Recent projects include Mozart: Her Story at Carnegie Hall, Aspects of Love in the West End, and the upcoming Broadway production of Little Dancer. Learn more at TeganSummer.com.
