Tony Spinosa: The Revolution of New Musicals
On this episode of Conversations with Changemakers, we speak with Tony Spinosa.
In this episode, we go behind-the-scenes of Tony’s new musical, Singing Revolution, as well as his two new websites. I wanted to have Tony on to continue the exploration of entertainment and education, especially through the lens of an evolving theatre career as a multi-hyphenate.
We don’t shy away from some tough topics. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts after the episode!
Eryn LeCroy on Entertainment & Education
On this episode of Conversations with Changemakers, we speak with Eryn LeCroy.
She is heading back to Broadway to play Martha Jefferson & Dr. Lyman Hall in the highly anticipated Broadway Revival of 1776 directed by Diane Paulus and Jeffrey L. Page. Prior to her Broadway debut in the iconic role of Christine Daaé in The Phantom of the Opera, Eryn made her Off-Broadway debut in two back-to-back Stephen Sondheim productions: Assassins with the New York City Center Encores and Sweeney Todd at the Barrow Street Theatre.
I wanted to have Eryn on to speak about service through entertainment and education. We end up talking about politics and spirituality. There’s so much in this episode… enjoy!
Tegan Summer: Leadership & Legacy
The CEO of Timeless Stage & Screen, Tegan Summer is perhaps most known for his focus on bio musicals and is the worldwide stage theatrical rights holder for the properties of James Dean, Harvey Milk, Malcolm X, Amelia Earhart, and many more.
I wanted to have Tegan on to speak about his art, but more specifically, leadership and legacy. I am deeply honored to be creating this man’s official website and digital legacy and I know no matter what kind of artist or human you are, this conversation will resonate with you.
Jonathan Freeland: Art with Impact
While some of you know Jonathan as my long-time Associate, he is best known as a musician and songwriter based in Nashville, TN.
I wanted to have Jonathan on to speak about creativity—particularly sharing some behind-the-scenes on releasing his genre-breaking “Emo Country” music. He released his first solo EP, “Young & Proud” in 2018, and the title track was placed at the top of the Alternative Press’ “New Alternative” playlist on Spotify. He’s since released 9 singles featuring artists including Less Gravity and Kevin Jordan of This Wild Life and a self produced live album.
This is literally my right hand man and I cannot wait to hear your thoughts on his wisdom!
