Tech Changes for 2023

Happy Holidays!

We are four weeks away from a NEW year—hopefully, one with more peace, love, and joy.

I look forward to bringing you NEW self-paced and on-demand classes in the new year as well as a series of LIVE Zoom Workshops. In the meantime, I wanted to highlight some of the new features and product updates from Google, Squarespace, and Kajabi.

🆒🆕 Google Updates

Search on 22

Google is making search more natural and intuitive—helping to break down language barriers by layering in new machine learning, visual, and audio search functionality.

  • Maps is becoming more interactive and immersive, including a LIVE view and eco-friendly routes.

  • Food will help you find specific dishes with comparison of prices, reviews, and ingredients.

  • Shopping is easier than ever, including new “Shop the Look” features and 3D product photos.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics is “sunsetting” Universal Analytics (UA) and moving everyone to Google Analytics 4 (G4). You can check if this is installed here

While I may create a Google Analytics workshop next year, book a consultation if you want help making sure you have G4 installed and know how to look at the data. It can be helpful to look back at many months or years. Things to look for:

  • New Users vs. Returning Users

  • Desktop vs. Mobile

  • Acquisition (where people came from)

  • Behavior (how your audience is responding to the layout and design!)
