Top 10 Tools for Online Business

Behind-the-scenes, we're growing!

In bringing Gertrude, Daniel, and Neville onto the team (and getting them set up with our systems and software), I wanted to share the 10 biggest tools we use with you.

Even if you're not tech savvy, at least give these tools a free trial. These specific resources have given me the freedom to work from anywhere and any device.

Use these 10 resources to grow your own virtual business!

LastPass

Never forget another password! LastPass is a secure place to not only store all of your passwords, but share them. Think of it as a digital ring of keys that you can grant access to various personnel as needed.

Google Workplace

Formerly called GSuite, Google Workplace offers the ability to not only have email@yourname.com, but also have team@yourname.com. This is what Lin-Manuel Miranda has set up for his team.

Not ready for business tools? Here are some of the awesome FREE tools from Google you should consider using!

  • Chrome - A web browser built for speed, simplicity and security.

  • Photos - Easily find photos of people, places, or things.

  • Drive - Create, share and keep all your stuff in one place.

  • Docs - Securely create, collaborate and share documents.

  • Sheets - Securely create, collaborate and share spreadsheets.

  • Alerts - Automated emails when "your name" (or someone else's) is mentioned in the press.

  • Calendar - Organize your schedule and share events with friends.

  • YouTube - Watch, upload and share videos.

Asana

Asana is a great way to break down big goals or collaborate on team projects. Assign responsibilities, deadlines and get updates without email!

Acuity Scheduling

Help people pick a time... anytime! All you need to do is show up. Acuity is like your online assistant, working 24/7 to fill your schedule.

Zoom

Hopefully you have had some experience with Zoom by now? If you are using it for meetings or teaching, check out some of the new video filters. You can wake up with makeup or new facial hair!

Loom

Easily record video messages of your screen, cam, or both. Faster than typing an email or meeting live!

Dropbox

Admittedly, we are not using all of the new features. However, we use Dropbox to send/receive files as a team and with our collaborators because of how easily it syncs with Apple's OS and iOS.

Squarespace

I recommend hiring a professional to design your website, but if you're going to DIY, I'd encourage you to do it on this incredible platform.

Kajabi

Turn your idea into income… your passions into profits! Kajabi’s industry-leading all-in-one platform makes it simple to create a successful business online.

And.co

From proposal to payment, AND.CO takes the headache out of freelancing, so you can get back to the work that drives you.

As an FYI, I am a proud affiliate for some of the links above; meaning I may earn a small commission from each sale. I would recommend them regardless!
